Gerry Zapata Sr. is the District Manager of Beck’s Shoes’ Central California stores, overseeing locations in San Lorenzo, Sacramento, and Modesto. He has accrued an impressive 40 years of retail experience at Footlocker, Tom McCann, Athlete’s Foot, Shoe Pavilion, and Foot Solutions. He is also a Certified Pedorthist (C-Ped). This designation makes him uniquely qualified in his field, as he has extensive knowledge in foot anatomy and pathology, biomechanics, shoe construction and necessary modification with orthotics. 

Outside of work, Gerry enjoys depending time with his family, fixing up his new home, and is a fan of all sports. He channels this passion into coaching, training and mentoring youth in his community, where he takes pride in providing them with valuable tools for personal and professional success! He is motivated daily by his passion for sales, finding true fulfillment in his work, and making a difference in the lives of others. He lives by the philosophy that “we can’t keep doing the same thing over and over and expect different results!”, and strives to put his ideals into practice daily.
